Regulatory Peace Treaty between Microsoft and Google
April 23 , 2016
In what seems to be a peace treaty between technology giants Google and Microsoft, they have agreed to drop all the patent infringement litigation against each other and work such concerns amicably in the future. Google spokesman said "Our companies compete vigorously, but we want to work on the merits of our products, not in legal proceedings." As a result of this agreement, both the companies have decided to drop the regulatory complaints against each other. This development reflects the change in legal priorities and a more vigorous competition.
