Rain Complicates Rescue Mission of Boys Trapped in Thai Caves

  • The rescue mission to save the remaining boys from the Thailand cave has been complicated by the heavy rain today. Out of the total 12 boys, 4 were brought out from Tham Luang cave network, located in the Chiang Rai province, on Sunday evening. The operation was suspended before the next rescue phase begins again, allowing refilling of the oxygen tank. But the ongoing rain can make it hard for the rescue team. Chiang Rai Gov. Narongsak Osotthanakorn has stated that “We have two obstacles: water and time. This is what we have been racing against since day one. We have to do all we can, even though it is hard to fight the force of nature. ”
