Putin begins 3-day China visit

Russian President Vladimir Putin is on a three-day visit to China, where energy and foreign policy are expected to dominate talks.
The crisis in Syria is also expected to be discussed.
Ahead of the trip, Putin said he was aiming to further increase bilateral trade, which reached $84 billion last year, to $100 billion by 2015 and $200 billion by 2020.
The Russian leader is travelling with six cabinet ministers and the heads of several energy companies, including gas giant Gazprom.
17 major business and trade deals between the two nations are expected to be signed in Beijing.
