As per reports, Macedonia’s parliament was stormed by protesters on Thursday as an ethnic Albanian was elected as speaker.
At least 10 people were injured in the incident, including the Social Democrat leader Zoran Zaev.
The protesters are supporters of ex-Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski's VMRO party. They are reportedly demanding for new elections.
Reports further say that there were around 200 protesters and they were wearing masks.
Stun grenades were fired by the police in order to disperse the protesters and help politicians to walk out from the parliament building.
