Pope utters F-bomb while speaking a foreign language
March 4 , 2014
Spanish is Pope Francis' native language and that explains why he ended up dropping the F-bomb while giving his weekly blessing.
Francis was speaking in Italian and intended on saying the word "example," which would have been said as "caso." However, he said "cazzo" instead, which means "penis" and is also a synonym for a four-letter swear.
"If each one of us does not amass riches only for oneself, but half for the service of others, in this f-, in this case the providence of God will become visible through this gesture of solidarity."
Some mentioned that the slip-up would be an easy one for a Spanish speaker.
