Pope Francis calls himself a pharmacist
November 18 , 2013
Pope Francis joked about being a pharmacist and prescribed prayers as a form of medicine, which is "good for the heart."
He put a rosary in a box that looked like packets of pills and distributed several of those boxes to people, claiming reciting the rosary prayer is like a form of spiritual medicine.
Francis appears at St. Peter's Square on a weekly basis and his easy to understand style of speaking has begun to draw large crowds for his appearances.
