Poland: Voters to elect new parliament
October 25 , 2015
Voters in Poland are electing a new parliament as opinion polls indicate that the right-wing Law and Justice party is set to return to power after eight years.
The conservative party headed by Jaroslaw Kaczynski is comfortably ahead of prime minister Ewa Kopacz’s Civic Platform party, according to the polls.
A win will consolidate the Law and Justice party’s hold over government after its candidate, Andrzej Duda, won the presidential poll earlier this year.
