Plane Crash in Kyrgyzstan Kills at least 37

  • As per reports, a Turkish cargo plane crashed in a village in Kyrgyzstan at 7:18 a.m. local time, killing at least 37 people. At least eight people were hospitalized. The freighter had seating for 10 people including two pilots, two observers and six additional passengers, but the number of people on board is still not clear.

    The plane crash destroyed around 15 homes.

    The Boeing 747 was heading to Kyrgyzstan's capital of Bishek from Hong Kong.

    The aircraft was manufactured in 2003 and has been involved in many crashes, including accidents in 2010 and 2011. Reports also say that that it crashed in 2012 as well.
