Pilot killed after plane fighting California fire crashes

A pilot was killed when a plane attempting to fight a wildfire in California’s Yosemite national park crashed, reports said.
When rescue workers reached the site of the crash, they found the pilot’s body. The air tanker plane, a Grumman S-2T, reportedly hit a cliff wall near the park entrance on the western side.
The fire started around 2.45pm Tuesday, leading to the evacuation of dozens of homes in the area.
