Philippines President threatens to expel EU ambassadors

Rodrigo Duterte, President of the Philippines, who has accused the European governments of plotting for the expulsion of Manila from the United Nations, has threatened to expel their ambassadors from the country within 24 hours. In a speech, the president stated that he would not tolerate any criticism of his drug war by the Europeans. Since Duterte took over 15 months ago, the drug war has witnessed the police kill around 3,850 people. The president has accused the European Union of interfering in the domestic affairs of the Philippines.
