Pedro Pablo Kuczynski Pressurized to Quit Due to Corruption Charges

  • The Odebrecht scandal has taken an ugly turn as the President of Peru has found no support of his mains in the cabinet, as per the report. He is indicted for corruption in Brazilian construction firm Odebrecht. The firm said it had paid five million dollars to the incumbent President, who was the former economy minister and the head of the cabinet. Pedro Pablo, on the other hand, has denied all the allegations charged against him. The President of Odebrecht said the company paid the Peruvian officials twenty-nine million dollars bribe over many years. Marcelo Odebrecht is currently serving imprisonment sentence of 19 years.
