Paris attacks: Three heavily armed teams involved, says prosecutor

  • Three teams carried out the deadly attacks in Paris which killed about 130 people and left over 350 wounded, the city’s chief prosecutor has said.

“We have to find out where they (the attackers) came from,” Francois Molins told the media. “And how they were financed.” He said seven attackers — all heavily armed and wearing explosive belts — had been killed.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks in the French capital, the deadliest in Europe since the 2004 Spain bombings.
