Papua New Guinea police enter Manus asylum center

In an attempt to push out asylum seekers from Manus Island Centre, police in Papua New Guinea have entered the center. According to media reports, the former Australian detention center was shut down on October 31; however, hundreds of men have refused to move from the center fearing for their safety. Australia had asylum seekers arriving by boat at Manus Island and Nauru; however, Australia shut down the Manus Island center after a PNG court declared it unconstitutional.
