Pakistan in deep shock after school massacre
December 17 , 2014
A shocked Pakistan is in mourning as it tries to come to terms with one of the worst militant attacks in the country in years.
The Pakistani Taliban's bomb and gun attack on Army Public School in Peshawar city killed at least 132 children along with nine staff members.
Prime minister Nawaz Sharif has declared three days of national mourning and called an all-party meeting to look at ways to respond to the deadly attack.
Even the Afghan Taliban has distanced itself from the attack, which took so many young lives.
