Pakistan Assures Malaysia to Buy More Palm Oil
February 5 , 2020
Pakistan has assured Malaysia to purchase more palm oil after major importer India's denial to buy Malaysian palm oil amid a diplomatic row. India informally asked its traders not to import edible oil from Malaysia following the criticism of its Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on India's Citizenship Law and scrapping of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. As per the report, Pakistan imported around 135,000 tonnes of Malaysian palm oil last month. It seems Pakistan is making amends of India's absence.
