The US has released over 100 documents and letters recovered from the 2011 special forces raid on terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden.
The al-Qaeda chief was killed in the raid.
The documents, released by the US intelligence, reveal among other things Bin Laden’s fear of surveillance and drones and his continuing preoccupation with targeting western countries.
Many documents are in Arabic and include correspondence between the al-Qaeda leader and his associates. The contents of his library have also been revealed and include works by US authors Bob Woodward and Noam Chomsky.
