Police have arrested a man after more than 40 people overdosed with a drug containing opioid in a Connecticut park. Some people are reported to be in critical condition, however, there are no fatalities so far. The first few cases of overdoses were in the vicinity of Yale University on the night of Tuesday. Overdose symptoms include vomiting. Concerned officials believe that the people affected might have taken K2's doses.
A new study has found that as many as 72,000 Americans got killed because of overdoses last year. Reportedly, drugs in the US are now even considered deadlier than guns, car crashes, and HIV.
