Obama and Xi Meet in California

President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping are having a series of informal discussions at an estate in California.
They met for more than two hours and discussed upon cyber-security and North Korea. Obama assured Xi that the US welcomes the peaceful rise of China as a world power. Obama also addressed several other areas in which Washington and Beijing disagreed.
The president talked about efforts to restrain North Korea's nuclear missile program as one of many areas of Sino-US cooperation. Xi said that the China-U.S. relationship has reached a new historical starting point and he believes that the two countries can build a new model of a major-country relationship.
