North Korean arms ship operator blacklisted by UN
July 29 , 2014
The operator of a North Korean ship, seized last year with Cuban weapons on it, has been blacklisted by the United Nations Security Council.
The Pyongyang-based Ocean Maritime Management operated the ship Chong Chon Gang, which was found with weapons and fighter jets, reportedly kept hidden under sugar sacks, near the Panama Canal in July 2013.
The North Korean ship operator now stares at a travel ban and international asset freeze.
