North Korea to publish 'rosy' human rights report
August 12 , 2014
North Korea says it will publish a “rosy” report on human rights to counter the “lies” about the country.
In a report published six months ago, the United Nations had detailed a wide range of abuses, including torture and murder carried out in North Korea. The country is considered to be one of the world’s worst offenders, when it comes to human rights.
But North Korea says its own report would show the “true picture” of its people.
