North Korea Tests Intercontinental Ballistic Missile that can reach "Anywhere in the World"
July 5 , 2017
North Korea has stirred the hornet’s nest by claiming that for the first time they have successfully tested a long-range missile that can “reach anywhere in the world”. Korea Central Television, state broadcaster of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), claimed that the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) missile, tested on Tuesday morning, reached a height of 2,802 kilometers (1,741 miles), which is the highest altitude scaled by a North Korean missile. US official experts have confirmed that the tested missile was a two-stage ICBM. The missile test has been strongly condemned by UN Secretary-General António Guterres. An emergency session on North Korea will be reportedly convened on Wednesday afternoon.
