July 29 , 2017
North Korea has reportedly tested their latest ICBM (Inter Continental Ballistic Missile) that reached an altitude of 2,300 miles (3,724km) in just over 47 minutes. The launch took place at 23:11 local time. Reports say that the concerned missile could have an approximate range of 10,400km. North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, according to their state media KCNA, said the successful test of their latest ICBM proves that the entire US mainland is in their striking range. Both USA and China have condemned the missile test. While US President Donald Trump called the action “reckless and dangerous”, China urged all concerned countries to avoid intensification of tension.
