North Korea Returns Remains of US Troops

  • In the latest development in the US and North Korea relationships, the latter has returned the remains of the US troops who were killed during the Korean War. As the remains-carrying plane landed at a US base, troops were seen to be forming the honor guard. The relatives of the dead have been waiting for years to collect their loved ones' remains. In the June summit between North Korea's Kim Jong-un and the US President Donald Trump, agreement on repatriation was made. However, the summit was criticized on the grounds of lack of details on how or when North Korea would renounce its nuclear weapons.
