North Korea Launches 3 Short Range Ballistic Missiles
August 26 , 2017
Democratic People's Republic of Korea fired 3 short-range ballistic missiles today, less than a week after US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson praised North Korea for showing 'restraint' in weapons program and hoped for a dialogue in the near future. The missile launches took place from Kangwon province and comes at a time when annual Ulchi Freedom Guardian military exercises of the USA and South Korea is taking place. Though the annual military exercise is called as a training program for defense, North Korea considers it as an act of provocation and a hostile maneuver. South Korea, in a statement, said that its military is keeping a close watch on North Korea’s provocations.
