North Korea advances date of satellite launch
February 6 , 2016
North Korea has advanced the possible date of a controversial satellite launch. Pyongyang had earlier said that the launch of the satellite-bearing rocket would take place between February 8 to 25. However, media reports quoted the Japanese government as saying that North Korea will launch the satellite between February 7 to 14. World powers had condemned the North Korean announcement of the satellite launch saying that it was a cover for testing ballistic missile technology.
