No compromise on basic EU rules, says Juncker
October 23 , 2014
The European commission’s incoming president Jean-Claude Juncker has warned British prime minister David Cameron against attempts to “destroy” the basic rules governing the free movement of people in the EU.
Juncker said when it came to rights going back to the foundation of the EEC, there could be no compromise in an “irresponsible” manner.
Meanwhile, latest polls have shown that the support for continuation of EU membership is growing among voters of Britain.
