Nigerian girls remembered one year after abduction

  • Events are being held around the world to mark one year since the abduction of over 200 Nigerian girls by the militant group Boko Haram from Chibok in northeastern Nigeria. Marches will be held in Abuja, Washington and London among several cities.

To emphasize the seriousness of the problem, Amnesty International said around 2,000 girls have been abducted since the beginning of 2014 by Nigeria's Boko Haram.
