Nigeria to probe allegations of abuses in refugee camps
February 11 , 2015
Nigeria has said that it will investigate reports of abuses at refugee camps including child trafficking and rapes.
A panel of the National Emergency Management Agency will probe the allegations into abuses at the camps for people who have fled from areas affected by Boko Haram violence.
More than three million Nigerians have been displaced because of the north-eastern insurgency.
A report by the International Centre for Investigative Reporting reveals that many girls in the camps are being trafficked.
