Nigeria: Female suicide bomber kills 10 in Yobe state
June 24 , 2015
At least 10 people have been killed and 20 injured in northeastern Nigeria’s Yobe state in a suicide bomb attack.
The bomber is believed to be a 12-year-old girl.
She reportedly detonated the explosives in a market in Gujba town, which had been retaken by the Nigerian military from Boko Haram militants earlier this year.
While no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, Boko Haram has carried out such bombings in the past. The bombing comes just a day after two female suicide bombers killed 20 people in Maiduguri city.
