Newly elected ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa pledges to fight against corruption in South Africa

  • Cyril Ramaphosa is elected as the President of African National Congress after defeating ANC MP Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. He is likely to become the President at Elections in 2019. While ending this five-day long conference he told his envoys that fighting against corruption is equally important as it is to eliminate poverty, unemployment, and inequality within the country. He also said, "We must also act fearlessly against alleged corruption and abuse of office within our ranks."
