  • The women's Rugby World Cup Sevens finals which took place on Saturday was won by New Zealand after beating France 29-0. The star of the final match was Michaela Blyde with nine tries total in the tournament. Other notable players are Tyler Nathan and Portia Woodman who drive the team towards victory. Sarah Goss, the New Zealand captain, expressed her happiness stating that “It's an amazing day. France are a quality team and for them not to score against us is a proud effort from the sisters.
