New rape claim in Strauss-Kahn inquiry
May 5 , 2012
Magistrates in France have requested for a new investigation into alleged rape involving Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former International Monetary Fund chief.
A Belgian prostitute has accused “DSK” and three associates of gang rape in Washington D.C. in December 2010.
Strauss-Kahn is already being investigated over his suspected role in a prostitution ring.
He was initially accused of attempted rape in New York last year, forcing him to abandon plans to run as the Socialist French presidential candidate.
No statement has yet been issued by Strauss-Kahn or his lawyers with regards to the latest allegation.
