New earthquake jolts northern Italy, six dead

A new earthquake struck the Emilia region of northern Italy at 09:03 local time (07:03 GMT), killing at least six people and burying several others under rubble.
According to news reports on Rai TV, three were killed when an industrial shed collapsed in Medolla, two died in San Felice and one in Mirandola.
The earthquake was estimated at 5.8 magnitude. Milan and Bologna were shaken too.
The tremor hit the same region where a quake killed seven people and destroyed many buildings just ten days ago.
A number of buildings damaged by the May 20 quake have now collapsed in Mirandola, Finale Emilia, San Felice and Cavezzo. That quake measured 6.0.
