Former South African president Nelson Mandela remains in intensive care in a Pretoria hospital, according to officials on Monday.
The presidency said Mandela's condition was unchanged.
Mandela, 94, was admitted to hospital on Saturday for the third time this year. He is being treated for a lung infection.
His former wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, has paid him a visit while current wife, Graca Machel, cancelled an appearance in London to be with her husband.
Mandela’s eldest daughter, Zenani Mandela-Dlamini, has also returned to South Africa from Argentina, where she serves as the ambassador.
Nelson Mandela was elected as South Africa's first Black president in 1994 and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.
Mandela stood down from his post in 1999 after serving one term.
He spent 27 years in jail for leading an anti-apartheid campaign.
Mandela's lungs are said to have been damaged during the time he worked in a prison quarry.
He has rarely appeared in public since 2004, when he retired from public life.
