'Nato states have started delivering arms to Ukraine'
September 15 , 2014
Ukraine’s defense minister Valery Heletey has said that Nato countries have started arms delivery to Ukraine to help troops fight rebels, according to media reports.
Heletey, however, did not name the nations supplying arms or give further details of the kind of weapons.
Interestingly, Nato member states had previously denied similar statements made by Ukraine.
The conflict in eastern Ukraine has killed around 2,600 people so far. A fragile 10-day long truce has not stopped fighting between Ukraine’s military and pro-Russia rebels.
