Musharraf goes to hospital instead of court
January 3 , 2014
Former president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf was taken to the hospital while he was on his way to a court for a high treason proceeding.
This drama marks the third time that Musharraf failed to show up in court. Deputy Inspector Jan Mohammed informed that the former strongman fell ill with a "heart problem" and had to be rushed to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology in a nearby city.
One of his lawyers Khalid Ranjha said the same thing. Reports suggest that Musharraf hasn't publicly had any heart problems in the past.
