Motörhead frontman Lemmy dies

  • Well-known bassist and legendary Motörhead frontman Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister died at his home. The 70 year old was detected with an ‘extremely aggressive form of cancer’. Lemmy was the sole constant member of the 1970s rock band Hawkwind and was popular worldwide for his full-throated yet gravelly tonal quality. He is survived by bandmates Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee.
