Moscow blanketed by heaviest snowfall, 1 killed and 5 injured

  • Moscow is witnessing the heaviest snowfall in a day which has made new records. A new record of 38 cm snow was set on Saturday beating the previous record set in 1957. One person was killed and five were injured when a tree fell on a power line due to the snowfall. Air travel has also been disrupted and dozens of flights have been delayed at airports. As per reports, snowfall is expected to ease off on Monday morning and the temperature is expected to drop.
