More girls kidnapped in Nigeria

Extremist group Boko Haram recently announced that it plans on selling the kidnapped girls. There are now reports of more kidnappings in the region. Reuters notes that girls between the ages of 12 to 15 were abducted near the group's bases in northeastern Nigeria.
"They were many, and all of them carried guns. They came in two vehicles painted in army color. They started shooting in our village," a resident said, adding that the group ordered people out after entering their houses.
Moreover, a police insider mentioned that girls were taken away on trucks. On a good note, CNN said the safe return of these girls is being called for by the UN since slavery is inhumane.
