The electoral commission of Zimbabwe declared President Emmerson Mnangagwa as the winner of country's presidential election on Thursday night. He got 51% of the total number of votes, while his opponent Nelson Chamisa got 44% of the vote. Before the result was announced, party members of oppositions had been escorted out of the room because of fear of potential unrest.
