Mladic trial enters second day

  • The war crimes trial of former Bosnian Serb army commander Ratko Mladic has entered its second day, with the prosecution focusing on the Srebenica massacre of 1995.

70-year-old Mladic is accused of organising the killing of more than 7,000 Muslim boys and men and faces 11 charges, including genocide.

The International Criminal Court in The Hague has entered a not guilty on his behalf.

Mladic spent 15 years on the run before he was apprehended by Serb forces last May and sent to The Hague.
