Missing jet ended up in Indian Ocean
March 25 , 2014
Flight MH370 left no survivors after crashing in the southern Indian Ocean. Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak mentioned that investigators used the type of analysis, which has never used before and the last known position of the plane was found west of Perth.
"Is is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, Flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean."
Relatives of the deceased got a text before Razak made the announcement and it read as follows:
"We deeply regret that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived. As you will hear in the next hour from Malaysia's Prime Minister, we must now accept all evidence suggests the plane went down in the Southern Indian Ocean."
