Millions of Kids around the World Joined 'Fridays for Future'

  • On Friday, millions of kids around the world have skipped schools and took the street to join the climate movement started by Swedish teen activist, Greta Thunberg. The primary aim of the movement is to protest governments' inaction against and corporations' fault in climate change. Thunburg, 16, began her climate strike in August 2019 by sitting with just a placard outside her school which sparked a larger movement called 'Fridays for Future'. Ahead of United Nations General Assembly's Climate Action Summit, this movement became the biggest environment movement led by the school students and young people.
