Italy: 12 Christian migrants killed after 'religious' row on boat

  • The Italian police have arrested 15 Muslim migrants for allegedly throwing 12 Christian migrants overboard after a “religious” argument on a boat.

    The Christians, who are believed to be nationals of Nigeria and Ghana, are all dead, reports indicated.

    The suspects involved in the incident are from Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali and Guinea, and have been arrested in Italy’s Palermo city. 

    Meanwhile, in another incident, at least 40 migrants were feared drowned after their boat sank on the way to Italy.
