Migrant crisis: Austria, Germany expect more arrivals
September 6 , 2015
Austria and Germany are awaiting thousands of more migrant arrivals from Hungary after the government there eased travel restrictions.
On Saturday, thousands of migrants reached the Austrian border and from there made their way to German cities such as Vienna and Munich.
Germany and Austria have provided more trains to cope with the numbers. According to Austrian officials, about 10,000 migrants, many of them Syrians, crossed the border within two days.
Europe is facing its biggest migrant crisis since World War 2.
