MH370: Speculation rife as place wreckage found off Thailand

  • Malaysian authorities have contacted their Thai counterparts over the missing Malaysian Airline MH370 flight. On Saturday, debris and wreckage was found in Nakhon Si Thammarat province off the Gulf of Thailand, which onlookers feel is of the MH370 aircraft, which met an unfortunate end in March, 2014. Whether it crashed due to a mechanical failure, fell to a hijacking plot or a pilot’s mistake is still unclear; several agencies have carried out search operations across the Indian Ocean but to no avail. 227 passengers and 12 crew members were aboard the airliner as it flew from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
