The Mexican government is offering a $3.8-million reward for the capture of Joaquin Guzman, the infamous drug lord who escaped from a high-security prison on Saturday.
Miguel Angel Osorio Chong, the interior minister, said that the prison officials of Altiplano jail must have helped him escape.
Guzman managed to get out of his cell through a tunnel, which was more than a mile long. The Altiplano jail director and two other prison officials have been dismissed.
