Mexico City Explosion Kills Over 25

On Thursday, 25 people were killed, 101 injured, and a number of people trapped in the debris by an explosions in the headquarters of a state-owned oil company, Pemex, in Mexico City. The cause of the explosion has not yet been ascertained. The explosion occurred in the basement of the administrative building right next to the 52-storied Pemex tower in downtown Mexico City. The blast occurred at 4 pm local time. The future of Pemex, or Petroleos Mexicanos, has been the matter of a raging national debate over the past few months.
