Mexican women forced to give birth in street
March 29 , 2014
Women's rights activists looked for help in order to end the pattern of poor women in Mexico being forced to give birth in parking lots, patios and lawns.
Activists mentioned that at least 20 recent cases of women not being able to give birth at hospitals have been documented. Moreover, there's been some outrage among people after photos of some incidents were posted on social media.
Earlier this week, local media reported the case of a female being sent away by a hospital while she was having contractions. She was then readmitted after photographers began to arrive.
