Mexican protesters target ruling party headquarters
November 12 , 2014
Protesters in Mexico clashed with the police and set the ruling party headquarters on fire as unrest over the disappearance of 43 students continues, according to media reports.
In Chilpancingo, the capital of Guerrero state, around 1,000 people protested the government’s handling of the situation before the situation took a more serious turn.
Though police officers, government officials, and gang members have been arrested in the disappearance case, the bodies of the students have not been found, sparking protests.
Officials had earlier said that members of a gang had confessed to killing the students and burning their bodies.
